ScanCraft privacy policy

ScanCraft ("the app") is provided by Essentia Apps to merchants using Shopify. This policy describes what the app collects and how it is used, when you install it on your store.

What the app accesses

Through Shopify's API, with your permission at install: product titles, variants, SKUs, barcodes and prices, only when you generate codes.

What the app stores

• Your shop's domain and an access token, to read your products.
• Designs, logos and label templates you create or upload.
• Short links you create, and a count of scans per day. No IP addresses, device data or other personal data is recorded.

How it is used

Only to provide the app's features to your store. We do not sell data, show ads, or share it with third parties, except the hosting provider that runs the app.

Your customers

The app does not store your customers' personal information. Shopify's mandatory privacy requests (customer data requests and erasure) are answered automatically.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, Shopify notifies us and all of your store's data is deleted within 48 hours of that notice.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS and stored on a private server. Access is limited to what's needed to run and support the app.
